This might seem a silly question but I'm struggling to find a clear answer. One of my brake bulbs has gone in the back of my Mk7 Fiesta, was wondering if LED replacements are available, and are they legal? Just want straight Red led replacements for the bulbs that are in there. Any help would be...
Chap in halfords recommended Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel on black trim, and I must say it works, and boy does the water bead off it. That's what I'm using now.
Gave my new ZS (previously had a puma 1.7, it died, before that I've had a willy and a 172 cup) its first proper clean up today. Washed, clayed, machine polished some bits, SRP all over, then 2 layers of Dodo Juice Orange Crush. There's still a bit of swirling that needs sorting, and a few...
There's definitely a sense of 'event' when you drive one, it's always special. Their little quirks and foibles are all part of the charm. If I was loaded and could afford to fully restore it, I'd have another one tomorrow.
One of those colours that looks superb when its all clean and waxed, then a bit boring once it gets a bit dirty, imo anyway. Does look gorgeous in those pics though.
my 172 cup was good for near 40miles once the light came on, if I drove it like an old lady.
my puma however, is good for about 10, the light comes on and its like 'GOD-DAMN, NEED TO FILL UP QUICK!'
^This here, illustrates my problem with cars like this. Ok it looks good in those nice super DLSR sunset pics, where it looks like you've parked up on miami strip, and cruise around with the palm trees waving, hot women in the back, and the tropical sun bouncing off the freshly waxed paintwork...
Im going with evo FQ-somethingorother. The bit on the bottom right looks like it could be one of those fins they have along the back of the roof. Maybe...
Nice! Friend of mine had one of these for a few years, just got rid of it, he said he couldnt leave it anywhere without worrying about it getting keyed, insurance was insane on it, and the value of them seems to of crashed a bit.
im on a 32" samsung too, via hdmi. It took a while to get set up, but now its as crisp as any normal monitor. Browsing the net 32" wide just cant be beaten either, especially ones late night browsing sessions ;)
sure about that? 172 ph2's came in Flame red, Monaco Blue, Iceberg Silver, Pearl Black, Titanium Silver. Flame, monaco and iceberg are all 172 exclusive colours, not including the cup which was mondial blue, exclusive to the cup.
172 bodykit means new front bumper, front arches, and sideskirts. You'd then have to widen the track on the front wheels to fill the arches, also remember the 172's didnt come in your colour, so you've got to have it all painted. Probably not worth the effort on that one.
the 172 is the easier car to drive, the williams is the more rewarding. if its gonna be a daily runner definitely get the 1*2, much easier to live with day to day.
