Well they said the pads were sooo worn down that they had messed the discs up but surley i would have felt this whilst breaking?

Took my DCI in for its 18k mile service. £155 thats ok. Then they ring me up just now and say it needs new pads and breaks (front ones) so its gonna cost like £320 altogether! Now ive not really driven this car that hard since i got it and cant really see how theyve worn down so much...

the only thing i like about a petrol car is you can rev it higher. doing 115 @ 4200 - 4500rpm in 5th is pretty good though lol A 3.0L diesel turbo would kick serious arse though!

why does everyone think that diesels are smelly/noisey and give off smoke? Come drive my DCI and see if it changes your mind.

I woudl as my DCI is amazing quick and is fast as well. Id buy a bigger engine one No problems. an 180bhp version would piss on the 182. maybe not top end but 1/4 mile,0-60, 0-100. c ya.

Best thing was once fitted i brought the wrong bulb anyway. Would do full beam and normall but not side light or something like that. I just thought Great. Thats the last time i listen to the man at halfords.
