Yeah there does look to be abit of cutting involved. Will have to get andy at Gdi to say what he thinks since a 172 engine costs the same as a williams one.

Yeah i like the mk1 interior more. Still swaping a whole interior over is no small feat!

wow, thats in not what you call a minor interior mod, i wonder loads of planning or bought the interior and made it fit?

So this enigne in a mildly stripped valver would make these results:

Power at Flywheel (BHP) :
172

Weight without Driver (KG) :
930

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) :
187.92

0 - 60 (Secs) :
6.00

0 - 100 (Secs) :
15.42

60 - 100 (Secs) :
9.42

Quarter Mile (Secs) :
14.42

Terminal Speed (MPH) :
96.71

Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) :
14.22

Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) :
98.45

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :devilish:

damn when i was at cliospares in wolverhampton a couple of months back he had 3 172 engines lying about the place!

those figures dont quite seem right... a Willy engine that theoretically makes less power but in the same car is about 14.3-14.6... should be faster than that imo

The seats must need custom subframes as well surely? Thats one helluva job anyway,, all credit to him for having the balls!

nope, only need to drill a hole in the floor and a minor bit of tinkering with the subframe to get em in. They are very high though. As for the rears, erm still havent got round to them yet  (top half anyway)

Martins banana runs around 14.3 and its a tuned willy lump with around 170bhp. Those figures i posted up are only theoretical anyway.

;)

And getting a valver down to 930 is hardly mild, mine came in at 950 with no spare or rear seats. Wouldnt a 172 engine weigh more too?

Probally dan i dont know how much they wiegh but im sure someone on here does.

As for mild it depends of what you class mild as. Martins banana is still in the mild catagory due to having a passenger seat lol :p
