Cup Spoiler Drips

How do you fight yours??

One thing that annoys me SO much.. ill wash the car, shammy... all looking gorgeous, drive to work the next day and the drips from the spoiler run down the back and cause streaks all over the rear window.

Is there anyway to prevent this without shammying again once youve stopped?

Tonight after washing the car i took it for a spin round the block then shammyd it again..

(No smart arse comments about the cup spoiler being horrible ;))

always seems to happen on the wing mirrors too

i normally wipe it then go out half an hour later and scream at it.. doesnt help but makes u feel better!

dont wash it, same with any car, i never suffer any annoying water marks, the cars always too dirty to see them :)

and im being serious

I wash the car every week, i hate having a dirty car.. (Although now that winter is coming i wont care QUITE as much)

Got to give the car a good going over this weekend, the little dots of tar are doing my head in! i clean most of them off as im going along, but its time to give it the complete once over.

not alot you can do other than take the car for a quick spin, then get home and finish drying it, i used th get the same, the door mirrors were worse than the spoiler tho

I find you can squash the shammy between the spolier and glass, pull it along the width of the screen with it still trapped between the spolier and the glass. Seems to do the trick.

I tend to dry mine off the best I can, drive it round the block to first and then get the drips that seem to develop from the rear spolier, front headlights, wheels, mirrors, and the biggest pain to dry the mesh grille in the front valence. Then wipe then away.

yup airline is best but as most people dont have access to them you can get compressed air cans one of those will do the trick.
