I've been looking at 335i saloons recently then I remembered this thread lol.

Still doesn't put me off - how does the warranty work? do you just ring bmw and get one or does the car have to come from them?

call bmw, and arrange to have it collected (if you have roadside assistance) or have it taken to them; upon booking request for a courtesy car - at the time they gave me a 116d. Once fixed, they call you, you pay your excess if you have one and thats it.
