That's s**t dude, I'm surprised tbh.... I have heard he has commented to a few people that he thought my compression results were faked... Even though a well known member of the community did them... Oh well mine is gone now, I miss it... Then I remember how much more comfy the s4 is lol

Wish this would bloody go. Bored of dreamers wasting my time with test drives and promises of deposits that never happen.

Might just break the bloody thing, which is something I never wanted to have to do again after the experience of dealing with 100s of cretins when I broke the Nissan.

If you dont want to split it, and want ti get rid quickly, surely you need to drop the price?

It's worth this price all day long, and I'm already losing a good £4k on what it's cost me just getting it sorted out. It'll most likely go on an eBay auction first with a bare minimum reserve, in the meantime I'll cost up what it's worth in bits. Made £8k out of the Nissan but it was more modified than this is.

Carrying on isn't an option, I can't afford to run 2 cars when I move into my house, I don't want to use this through winter, so it's got to go.

If I had any mechanical nouse or knew my way around a car, I'd of already owned this by now.

I'm just too clueless to own something this 'specialist' tbh.

All the best with the house. On wards and upwards as they say.

Its still a bloody good looking car by the way...

They're easier to work on than a Clio. Besides, there's a big army of Rotary heads willing to help.

It's not that it hasn't worked out, I always knew when I found a house that the likelyhood was the car would have to go. It's been testing but I'd have another, and they do stay good looking (unless you start fitting crap to them!). Cheers Ian.

Can't believe this hasn't gone yet. Has to be one of the best out there. Good luck with it all Gaz.

I've still one interested party who's coming for a second viewing this weekend so here's hoping. Even he's trying to bleed my dry though!

I think the problem is people see Big Power Single Turbos for similar or less money so they won't touch a standardish power twin.

It's because they've got such an awful rep for reliability, one which probably isn't justified tbh. With the mileage it's worth that all day long. Lovely looking car even with the paint defects. Wouldn't take much effort to spruce it up anyway.

Exactly, I've even put that in the advert! I've contemplated getting the bumper/wings done and the strikethrough touched up but why spend any more on it to still sell it for the same price. If like me you know painters, you could have it fresh for very little money.

Yeah this is it, I'd always overlook defects like that. Especially if like yours it's low miles and otherwise in good mechanical condition

She's gone to a new home tonight. My mate has clearly wired the fog up wrong though, as it comes on all the time when the lights are lit, which I only just realised now! Also noticed braking made one bank of lights turn off so had to point that out to the new owner as he was about to drive off, luckily that's just a clean of the contacts needed.

Ah well, I had the feeling that car would turn into a SERIOUS money pit.

Buy a conservatory for the new gaff instead.

Nah I'm not looking for FWD euro hatches. Off to look at more boosted Jap crap.

Another S-Body?

Glad to see it's finally sold mate, hope you got a decent price for it as it looked a f**king clean car!

Nah, I can't afford an import one in a spec I'd like so that's them out of the window.

Off to look at a Mitsubishi Legnum VR4. V6 Twin Turbo Estate with 4WD, what could go wrong?!

Flol! <3

You're 'money saving' future car purchase sounds about as sensible as mine ;)

I could go out and buy an old V8/10/12 and it would still be cheaper than a Rotary mind!

The VR4 is much cheaper to buy and could be used as a daily, so being back to just 1 car will save me a good wedge of money, plus I'll have a bit in the savings in case anything goes wrong this way.
