My Racing Blue Clio 182 Turbo

Bought this cracker recently off Steve at R-Sports cars after stupidly selling my Trophy with 40k on the clock in april.

A month ago 29k on the clock,totally standard apart from a BTM exhaust.

Has full Renault service history and riding on Continental sport tyres,theres no dings,dents,marks and next to no stone chips on the front end.

Have now done a few things to it.....Cooksport springs,powdercoated the wheels,Snappy steering wheel,all plastic trims renewed,new screws around the wheel arches,fresh clean plates and a good machine polish/wax etc.

Want to get the exhaust trims further out by a couple of cm,get stuck under the bonnet getting it really clean,mayby recaro trendlines,poly bushes etc to sharpen it up and prob other bits and pieces over time to keep me busy as a hobby.

Stunning!! I agree the exhaust is the only gripe that sits too far in the bumper.

Your trophy was also awesome! bit gutted i never made the move for it..

Any future plans for it?

The car is driving brilliant and is now on 32k

Ive just bought a Pure Motorsport gear shifter and a set of private plates.

Fitted the gear shifter on sunday 28th dec and it was in and adjusted in 2 hours.What a difference and a great mod,wish id done it alot earlier.Will make a small video 'prob tomorrow' of me putting it through the gears and post it up.

Also ive got the plates made up from fancy plates,a 3/4 one for the front and a standard plain one for the rear.Also got a standard one for the front made up aswell in case i get pulled from the police for it.Am going to stick the rear plate on but drill the front plate on for a quick change if needed.Am just waiting on the final paperwork coming through from the dvla so i can get the plates fitted.

Still need to get the BTM exhaust tailpipes chopped and extended about 15mm.Will get that done within the next few months.

My brother bought a standard 1 owner clio 182 full fat with 20k on the clock in sept so i fitted a set of cooksports,piper stainless exhaust and got a rs tuner remap on to it.While we had the rs tuner we plugged it into my car and turns out my car had the 98 ron map put on it in 2012 :smiley: Always wondered why it drove better than my trophy.

Stunning car and i think i would take an RB over the Trophy.

My car had the exact same problem with the exhaust sitting under the bumper but was told by loads of people that it was fitted wrongly.
After looking at a few cars with the Yozza this seems to be like this on a few.

Thats how i hope to get the tailpipes looking like Marc ! The exhaust isnt sleeved anywhere so the tailpipes will have to get chopped.Have found a place in fife that made a good job on a exhaust on my pals new audi S3.

Also forgot to say that heard the Pure motorsport gear shifter rattles !
Mine has no rattles at any revs / speed
Dont know how after what ive read but not complaining.

@steve f you want to go and speak to Billy @ CAS (Complete Auto Solutions) based in shotts.
For the past 10 years he has been building custom exhausts and he made an amazing job out of mine getting it perfect and even putting in a gasket between the back box and centre section over the rear beam.

I had that gear-shifter on the PH1 race car.

people thought it was a sequential box.

Got the plate paperwork through from the dvla so now got the 3/4 plate screwed on with normal sized plated drilled and sitting in the boot incase of getting pulled.

Also got a photoshoot done yesterday on the car.

Ngk sparkplugs
Aux belt kit

Took it around north west scotland recently.Car drove brilliant

Has been really hard not wanting to buy some nice bits ive spotted for sale recently ie RS2 intake,Sach Dampers,Brembo callipers etc but the car drives great as it is and dont think i will do much else to it if anything.

Decided to get the bodywork sorted at the weekend past with a guy that has a good rep at detailing as the car looked clean and shiney but in certain lights it was covered in swirls.Am really happy with it now and was money well spent.
