Right, laptop is still shagged but borrowed my bro's!

Did a bit more last week, stripped the cambelt off, for 59K and 9 year's old it didn't look so bad! ha ha! , Got gaz on painting duty, he has painted the cam carrier and top engine mount with crackle paint.

Ordered a breather plate for a 197 as i have binned the carbon canister, had a set of poly dogbone bushes turn up on saturday, also ordered some bilstein B14's, they haven't turned up yet, bit dissapointed tbh as i hoped they would have turned up.

Going to do some more tomorrow, gaz has had a few tips off Matt@TDF, so were good to roll i think, cams will be going in thursday night i hope.

Well had a pretty good night tonight! Cams are in, cat 421's, new cambelt kit, dephaser pulley and aux belt are on also! So not done so bad, got some pics but batteries have gone flat in the camera

First few are from tuesday night, me and the king kev gazla did a little bit of faffing, mainly just thinking forward planning, gaz removed under bonnet lining / heatshield

Old fly by wire throttle pedal :

New cable pedal that comes in the kit, along with posh mounting plate :

Cable installed through grommet that renault kindly left there for ITB usage at a later date!!

ECU undressed, weight saving etc, lol :

cams sat in waiting....

Cam carrier on and tight...

belt on, tight and pulleys tight :

new auxiliary belt :

uprated engine mount fitted :
