Just want rid of this now, back box alone is worth £50 surely. Centre pipe would be fine with a few little spot welds or some decent exhaust silicone/paste/putty. You could just grind the decat off if you didn't want this and sell separately...
Need to underseal my new aging track toy so have purchased a load of wire brush attachments to go on my drill and angle grinder to remove all the surface rust, and purchased some decent rust convertor.
So what do you recommend as undersealer for the Chassis, sills, sub-frames etc? Reading a few...
Looking at these for the Celica I've just purchased. Anyone got any experience with them?
Would be going with the Zeta CRD+ below, they come with fixed spring rates of 5kg front/7kg rear.
Or should i just go with the BC racing BR's with custom damping...
So tempted by something like this to replace the 182 track car. I know its scruffy but I'm tempted to throw in a bid or contact him with an offer around £2.5k as its well spec'd and looks ready to track!
Thoughts...
Not got a crane to pull from the top, CBA with the hassle of pulling apart the box from underneath on stands, to pull through the passenger side arch so was going to remove the front end and pull it that way. Question, is all the front end like the crash bar etc bolt in or is stuff welded in...
So was going to slot my AST's top strut hole for more negative camber (cant do the bottom hole as there's not enough material to file down) and to fine tune the adjustment would need adjustable top mounts, thing is I've just bought PMS top mounts and don't want to fork out again for the grams...
Winner for January was @Tomotek so he gets to pick February's car and track which is:
Mclaren 650S GT3 at Imola
Guidelines:
1. At the start of each month a track and car are chosen by the driver with the fastest time from the previous month. If the same driver is fastest two months in a row...
Looks good and I know the Bimarco Futura gets good reviews , but at £163 delivered for a seat with head restraints, seems to good to be true!
Anyone used one, sat in one, felt the quality etc?

Also on Ebay for £162 delivered...
Just having a look around for something and came across this below. Obviously it isn't going to be as accurate as Hunter or Supertraker equipment but if you can get close enough then for someone like myself who likes to make adjustments to suspension it will save a few quid over the year...
Got a MOT advisory for slight play in the NSF wheel bearing so gonna get it replaced, should I be replacing both or just wait until the OSF gives up before replacing? Also best place to purchase a good quality item without paying £82 a pop from RPD?
Can get hold of a new pair of Toyo RS1 slicks (GG compound) cheap and was wondering if anyone had ran slicks up front and R compound tyres at the rear? The rears will be Pirreli Trofeo R's which are pretty much a cut slick anyway, all 4 tyres are 205/50/15. I would purchase a full set of slicks...

Anyone fitted one of these from CMC Composites? Snapped my cup splitter last time out at Oulton and need a replacement.
Or are they just for asthetics only? If so I'll just get the Fabia splitter.

Refurbing all my callipers and need a way to cap off the lines whilst the callipers are off the car for a week or so, was thinking a m10 dome nut like the below on the end of the lines? Any other ideas appreciated.
@Niall what did you use mate...
The Scenic has developed a fault when driving the NSR door open sensor/beeper goes off like the door has been opened. Also the alarm goes of intermittentley when locked.
Got to be the internal NSR door lock sensor right? Question is would CLIP pick this up? Heard Meganes can have the same fault?
Should have done this ages ago, not a great deal of pictures and probably forgot half of what's gone on but here goes....
Purchased the car back in January 2016 from a nice chap in Warrington, didn't come with much history but being fairly clean, low(ish) miles (101k) and a 182 FF I took a punt...

Really struggled to get heat into my tyres at Oulton on Saturday and it was only around 7 degrees. I'm back there tomorrow and its 2 degrees. Any thoughts how to gain heat into my tyres as there's so much conflicting info online. Some say reduce pressures others say increase, also some say...
Ok so whilst going around right hand bends the car lurches forward like I've stamped on the throttle, only does it when really pushing on. We thought we'd found the issue were the upper plastic intake pipe was rubbing on the ECU harness wires and had actually exposed the can signal wires to the...
Seems a bit of a grey area regarding a RARB when a 1*2 is set up on decent track spec suspension, some say it helps others say due to the stiff nature of track spec coilovers and springs it wont do much at all. Got AST's on mine with 450lb front and 600lb rear springs and just wondering peoples...
So after my recent aux belt failure slipping the timing on the Clio, I was just curious as to how often this actually occurs on the sport engines. If relevant please choose a poll option and post in the thread with what engine this occurred on and the scenario of how it happened.
Car is on its way to have its belts done and it' gone, what are the odds! Unsure of damage. It just died spluttering and found part of my aux belt gone.
Found myself what looks like a decent set of used Dunlop SP Sport slicks but it seems some race slicks don't have a manufacturing date. Guy said he purchased them 12 months ago from a Clio cup race team and they stated they has only completed 15 laps from new.
So my question, what is the life...
Just come across these on eBay and they seem crazy cheap for a set of 4, anyone used them?

So got hold of a second hand set of ASTs and want them set up best I can for track. I'll be getting the car corner weighted eventually once I've finished weight reduction.
So much contradictory advice online, some say use the wheel centre to arch, whereas others say this is a no no and it...
Just got hold of a set of these but can't fathom how the height adjustment works. I get you move the collars up or down the strut, but in doing this it adds or reduces pre-load to the springs. Now if I move the collars down to much the springs aren't under load and are loose on the strut and if...
