Just wanted to know (or opinions), does having a aftermarket exhaust effect the p/x value I might get compared to having a standard exhaust on?? Bascially Clio 182 with a Blueflame Ex. (I know the rep on here isn't good for Blueflame anyway). Gweebs!! :cool:

I had Sportlines fitted in my 182. On standard shocks, no other adjustments needed.

Cost you the best part of £2000/2500 to get 230bhp... I wouldn't worry about the gearbox. If it does go pop, you need to look at your drivin....

If you get a stupid quote like that, you have to ask yourself if the garage really wanted to do the job. They've just hike up the price in the hope you go somewhere else or you'll just throw silly money at them. Go somewhere else mate, if I was you....

I believe you'll find it pretty much the same for very many aftermarkets exhausts. Never fit quite right. Although I know there are some out there who's exhaust doesn't bang, its still quite rare.
