ok wats the max rpm an F7R bottom end can take? ive seen a few williams lumps sat at well past 7k revs with a chipped ecu. i know the megane block castings are different, but are the rods, crank pistons more upto the job of higher revs? cheers jimbo

the new box i fitted 2 weeks ago is leaking oil from the underside of box. its not the cv boot, as thyr fine. the oil is coating the selector mechanism area. has any1 got any experience with cracked casing or leaks from the box? jimbo

ok, the beast is finally road worthy, after being off the road for four months, having the entire abs sytem ditched and fitting a new rack-its really easy to remove the 16v engine! took me 1hr 30mins at one stage to remove it complete. anyway, the bottom end has got 126k on the clock now...
