Yellow will look mint on a blue or black or red 172 (contrasting colours) but on the silver its a bit lost - red would work on the silver better but still looks good.

I agree they are slow but its onlt an 1149CC and nobody is disputing that fact - although If I had to drive one Id defo have the Mk 2 1.2 16V over the original Mk 1 1.2 8V variant - 15BHp makes a hell of a difference and wouldnt take much to get 85BHP which is pushing a VTR!

Rich why are you getting a new gearbox? Its only the doggie mount needs replaced to overcome the thunk - mine had eaten into the mount and it was baout to collapse - the gearbox is fine? The suspension top mount modification will overcome the clunk whilst cornering as well?

A bonnet vent aka Subaru/Mitsubishi is used to draw air to the turbo intercooler so fitting a subaru type bonnet vent to anything but a subaru is kinda stoopid. Unless ur trying to claim you have a turbo under there. A bonnet vent like the super 1600 or williams/1800 16V is as mentioned to cool...

Well done mate - youve convince me to order mine now -any noticabale increase in acceleration to 60 or 100? Does the limiyter try and cut in at 6250 like it would with a superchip remap and does the engine struggle to 8000RPM or does it pull all the way?

Correct - there was a Grp N version of the Mk1 so there must have been an ECU too.

Didnt realise the MOSSA finish came in Billabongs, extremes, Mars Bars or dynamiques? In fact Im sure it doesnt - never seen it in any other clio models - they all have disgusting patterns! Unless of course you retro fit some cup seats.

ECU doesnt have any affect on those toys - its a compettion remap ie torque and power curves have been adjusted nothing else. The ECU wil fit standard 172s according to Jonathan at R-Sport.
