    this may sound odd, but have a look at the carbon canister solenoid under the drivers headlight, we had a few which made a ticking noise which increased with revs and sounded very much like the tappets, you could clearly hear it when you are sat in the car without radio etc on

    for me personally i live on the edge of the town boundarys, ie if i turn right onto the DC theres lots of fields and small country roads, if i turn left theres just housing estates etc right until you hit town centre, so a mix for me tbh

    the dephaser on the K4M engine was really bad, that was a everyday job, but i think we only ever changed a couple of F4R dephasers, usually down noisey operation.

    as above, saw 2x ph1 172s(silver and red) aswell as a trophy and a few clio cup race cars. anyone off here?? i was there in the black/orange mk1 hybrid, struggled with grip all morning it was greasy as!, was alot better when it started throwing it down later on!!

    very nice 182 there! i have a 04reg in artic blue aswell and had been tempted to modify it but managed to stop myself!! love how yours sits with the new wheels and AST's, luckily i have a mk1 hybrid tracktoy to stop me going down that route!!
