battery

I've had my clio 200 for just over 8 months now. suddenly it didn't start this afternoon, battery died out i suppose. was perfectly fine just an hour earlier! before this car, i had a new Megane for which the same thing happened after around the same time (8-9 month)... is that normal?!!

Hi basically yesterday my partner started the car fine and went out, when she returned it woudnt start , anyway i bump started it no problems drove it home turned it off and then tryed starting it and nothing , i used a booster pack and it started no problems , ive tryed it again this morning...

The original battery needs replacing, OEM part 8200 253 042 made by Yuasa.... Question: there is what appeasrs a vent pipe that goes from the battery top back-side (+ end) down towards the wheel arch, is this vent still present on new OEM batteries?

Chaps, is it worth coating the terminals on the car battery and/or connectors with some form of grease? Or would you generally just leave them attached to each other 'dry'? Electrics are an arcane form of witchcraft to me, so any suggestions would be more than welcome. Cheers, D.

I find that the battery on my iPad 2 seems to drain very quickly. Will it drain quicker if there are a lot of apps open at the same time? And will it drain quicker while using 3G rather than wifi? cheers
