Hopefully tomorrow I will be fitting the following new parts - time permitting:

Rear Calipers
Rear OEM discs with bearings and Grams disc spacers.
Rear pads TRW
Hel Lines.

Replacement Exhaust Manifold to midpipe fitting kit

Powerflex Yellow Upper Engine Mount
Powerflex Purple Dog Bone

RS Tuner 98 Ron map.

Going to pop the wheel back off and check that the angle sensor is definitely on Zero as well. As the abs isn't working atm due to the sensor fault.

no progress today bar getting the new exhaust gasket in.

can’t really see how the hel hoses would attach as the existing hose is crimped and the unions to the calipers on the rear are seized solid.

So unable to do the rest of the bits as I couldn’t risk snapping the hose union and the new hoses not fitting ffs

The rears don't go on at the caliper mate.

They're to replace the flexi's at the rear beam connection under the passenger side.

Follow the hard lines and you'll see.

Ffs. I tried googling whilst I was in the workshop with no luck. I couldn’t see where they went?

Tbh, the existing hose is completely seized in the calipers, so I’ll need to replace the whole thing I guess to get the calipers off…

Some good news though, I’ve sorted the exhaust smell out

Want to replace / sort / looking for a solution for the interior ‘sticky’ trims. That’s a definite want - to sort. Carbon splitter. Carbon tail pipe trims. Eventually LSD.

Longer term plans are to refurb all suspension components and polybush the whole car. Refurb subframe etc and beam. Although they’re not bad, I’ve just got ocd

Love to see this.

Helpful bunch. I remember totally F'ing up the airbag module thing and Russ (changes his user name every week) saved my arse.

Question for you. Where did you source your rear discs/bearings from?

Right. Hopefully I’ve got what I need now and can get on with a few bits with dependencies on the lines not being seized.

Slightly irritating my ocd that the colours don’t exactly match. But you won’t see it… atleast

Excuse my ignorance, what are the lines in the bag for?

They are the lines from the rear caliper up to the chassis mate. Then the smaller of the two Hel lines links the bagged up lines to the solid pipes. The other longer Hel lines are for the front.

You may not need to change the bagged ones generally as they are solid from oem.. BUT they go rotten and seize (the latter being the issue I have, so I've decided to change the lot).

Ah yeah I see. Mine are a little bit scabby so may take a look at replacing them at some point. The front and rear (over the beam) are braided already as far as I am aware.

it's a bit of an odd setup. Not sure why they didn't just braid the lot. On the rear you've got solid up to the union (for use of a better term) and then about 8-10 inches of rubber hose and then back to solid. Bloody french :ROFLMAO:

The bagged up ones are like 40-50 quid. So not bad at all. They're from ProLine. And are made by Hel anyway.

They're all stamped on. I complained to speedline about this and they sent me decals to replace if needed.
