My First project a Clio MK3 TCE 1.2 SX (girl owner)

Hi guys, for some reason my images will not show on my original post so I am trying again :)
Here's Leo when I first got it.

Standard extras included:
Panoramic front and rear sunroof.
Rear brake discs.
Privacy glass.
Sx body kit.
Front fog lights.
Heated mirrors.
Electronically adjustable mirrors.
Air-conditioning.
When I brought this my side skirt was cracked and the air con was not working. First on the list of things to do.

Toyo proxes t1r (215/40/17)
Lowered by 35mm and added 20mm wheel spacers (may go to 25mm on rear with new 197 style rear bumper)
Blacked out the Renault Diamonds
Wind deflectors
RS door bullets
197 upper grilles
Cup Spoiler
Uprated dumb valve
Custom induction kit (cotton gauze)
Re-Map (135bhp from p-torque)
Pioneer stereo + stalk control function
Tinted fog lights (Purple)
Sparco tow strap (Purple)
Aero wipers.
Removed spare wheel.
Sun strip.
Seat belt shoulder pads (momo)
Custom tread plates.
Removed Clio badge on tail gate.
Stuke winglets (front bumper)
Pressed number plates
Chrome indicator bulbs
Custom Floor mats

Being done at present:
Front bumper mouldings, front fog surrounds, door handles, battery cover and engine cover are being Hydrodipped in carbon Fibre effect.
RS replica bumper at bodyshop being painted
Future Plans:
Front and rear brakes changed to dimpled and grooved discs + paint calipers.
Oil catch can/cans to be installed
door mouldings to be hydrodippped.
Possibly tint rear lights

Photos are all from different times. But hopefully gives the whole effect. Thanks for reading.

Bumpers are hard to find but can't wait to fit it.

Yeap, I can see them all :) Are you going to be keeping the parking sensors or ditching them with the new bumper setup?

Great and ditching them of course :p
Still getting used to the forum, can't find a way to see my thread unless searching it. And no option to change profile picture.

Sounds so much better with this installed but must remove the recirculation pipe or you get a fart noise (with standard dumpvalve)
I did notice the car would rev out better, especially in the high gears :smile:

Useful article if you have just a panel filter :)

DID YOU KNOW?
A small enclosed ‘can/box type’ filter with long snorkel to front grille = Flow restrictions at full boost/rpm also = A negative pressure (thinner air) at the turbo INLET = Higher turbo OUTLET temperatures + increased lag and turbo wear due to extra work for the turbo!
‘open filter ’ designs with ultra low air restriction achieves the lowest air temps at the turbo OUTLET…. this is what the engine receives after all. Even in situations where the air entering the filter may be hotter, the higher pressure (more flow) at the turbo INLET still achieves a lower OUTLET temperature than the small sealed ‘can type’. = colder intake temperatures than a enclosed airfilter.... even without a cold air feed

Just collected my new bumper this morning from the body shop. Looks good. Can't wait to fit it to my car. Liking that the diffuser is colour coded. Going to experiment with some purple trim around the diffuser.

Is this the look a like rear bumper that's online for about £300 or another site? Please link! :) also great too see another TCE on here!

Do post a picture up after its on and let us know how hard / easy it was to put on :)

Nicely done with the engine bay!! Worth the scrubbing and cleaning, looks pretty much brand new again :up::up:

Crazy the differences alongside with the bog standard one!!
