u dont need one for an MOT. If its not present its allowed, however if the wing mirror was there but there was no mirror then it wouldnt pass. I think ;)

lol the cover is easy, you just gotta push the right bit.
The key looks like half of one of the sides slides off, where it really is only two pieces.
Take the key off of any key ring it might be on.
Hold the Half of the key that the metal bit is coming out of. Then slide the top half...
well my mk2 16 clio has 14" 185 tyres and it seems to be worse on the roads so far this winter than my old rt that had 15" 195s.
Touch wood though, ive never had the rear end of the clio go out on me once.
ermmm it aint that easy to get someones address from their number plate?
I thought the main reason was to stop people with the same car using clone plates so they dont get done in speed traps etc.
I had the same problem, Renault diagnosed it after half hour as a faulty key. They tried to charge me £30 for diagnosing it, then £70 for a new key, and £30 for programming the new key.
Told them to shove it, didnt pay anything, went to a local key place and got a new chip for £15 - you need...
endsleigh are always good for young drivers on low powered cars. Haggle them and they will get down to 1k i reckon.
If not tell him to get pass plus then go with norwich union as theyll count it as 1 years NCB.
Alternatively go on elephant or admiral and add his mum as a named driver.
Round the towns i get about 33mpg, and cruising at about 70-80 will see 40mpg on the motorways. Although i did a round trip to bluewater at the weekend and drove like a fanny at 60mph there and back and got 50mpg :D
By the way i drive a 1.6 so shouldnt be too much difference.
PS Edded what...
crazy stuff!!
When they ask how long uve had ur license, do u work it out inc. provisional?
Im not sure cos NUD said last year to inc. it, but dunno if thats the same all over?
Been playing about on Admiral and got the following:
Fully comp, my dad and aunt as named drivers (worked out cheaper than 2 old woman??), 10 month bonus accelerator with 7k mileage - £876.
Quite happy with that, just waiting to see wot NUD offer me as a renewal.
Got the insurance coming up in a few weeks but im shocked at out expensive it still seems to be.
Im 20, 2 years NCD, live in an area C, drive a 1.6 16v clio (group 10), worth £3500, 10k a year, driveway, no points etc.
Cheapest fully comp i can find is well over a grand + a massive excess...
i think all cars are the same! When i first passed i my 1.0 fezzy was plenty fast for me.....well for about a month. So six months on i got a 1.4rt, and a year are that i got a 1.6 16v clio. I supposed ive found the limits to the clio already, although its still fun and as soon as i find a mod...
The design seems alright but the font choice is pretty bad. Just changing the font and making the site menu look a bit neater would make the site look a LOT better. IMO of course ;)
yeah it would be interesting to know the exact differences. All i know is the ride in my car is a bit bumpier and firmer than my dads clio. Also, dont the newer clios have 15" alloys?? whereas my 1.6 there only 14"? or are the new ones 14" as well hehe
Just wondering is there any difference between the suspension set ups of the mk2 ph1, the facelift mk2, and the slighty different 04 plate clios???
I only ask as compared to the mk2 ph1 1.2s + 1.4s my 1.6 16v seems to be slightly lowered, and all of the reviews ive seen say the 16v has sports...
1. Nice shiney silver renault dust caps nicked
2. Spat on my windscreen when in the car park???
3. Ripped wingmirror off and snapped aerial.
Ive only been driving 2 years so im sure il add to that.
lol thats bollox
ok its not, but theyll still insure you.
Phone back and then say when u phoned up a week ago someone said they would insure u but they had to speak to the under writers first. They told me the same things 3 times when i was getting quotes, and eventually insured my mk2 rsi...
