Mileage doesn't reaaaally matter providing it's cared for. Mines on 74k and on its 3rd engine...
But then again it's just a neglected mule/track day car
I've done a 1.20 in a 172 cup, Standard other than - Lowering Springs, rear bench removed and decat. That was on Toyo T1R's.
Combe is very much a power circuit however. The Megane was into 1.13s with 280bhp on slicks.
I want to see if I can locate my old Clio. Registration was RK04 LFU. Last known location was the Weston Super-Mare area.
Anyone know where it might be?
Thanks!
We don't know if that's the case, hence my question...
Racing in clio cup doesn't make me an ambassador, it makes me a customer.
SJCooks is owned by a group of which my Uncle is on the board... But it's nothing to do with me?
Because the person driving it my be a spoon. I was only offering a reasoning to why. Just because it's a track car, doesn't mean it will put up with sledge hammer gear changes.
Regardless what RUK or SJCooks say, what does that have to do with me?
Which section of that comment boggles your mind? I'm happy to explain....
What's with the "oh wait"?
My mind is boggled with your comment... So please elaborate.
Its not actually a certainty that your shocks will be ruined if you don't run bump stops, but we recommend you do :)
One of the BIGGEST killers of shocks is actually when people do up the top mount nut with an impact gun. Spinning the damper shaft can actually destroy the damper seals. Some...
Let me clear up a few of peoples questions. The bump stop should ALWAYS be installed in the shock, they are designed to prevent the shock from bottoming out on itself (and breaking).
All our spring does from a shock point of view is allow it to operate in a different section of its range (the...
Just did a clutch on a 197, did 500 miles and one side of the friction material fell off. Genuine clutch from Renault, the second replacement from Renault had different rivets.
I personally wouldn't run over 290/300 on a standard 225 setup and fuel system.
Entirely depends on mapping though.
That's just my personal preference.
It will happen with standard camber... However Tony mentioned using camber bolts iirc!
I wouldn't worry too much, racing is not the same as a track day.... You get much less track time, less fuel, less tyres etc.
