I know it's not a Clio sport, but thought someone might have half an idea.
Sister's 1.5dci 106bhp Mk3 Clio GT is regularly coming up with 'Check Injection' and goes into limp mode, mainly when driven hard at 3.5k+ revs.
Plugged it in and only fault code is - P2263. 'Turbocharger Boost System...
Looking to get myself back into a 182, which will be heavily track orientated.
My old 182 had the cup suspension with 60mm spacing, and I’m just wondering if I should try and go for this again or does it make virtually no difference in the real world?
The shocks and springs would be replaced...
Starting to miss my old 182, and I'm half tempted to sell my 250 and to come back to a Clio and get myself a daily as well.
In terms of performance how does a 172 Cup compare to a 182? I mean I know the differences, but how does say a Cup backed 60mm 182 compare to the 54mm of the 172? Does...
My mates just bought it and it's got a Cliosport.net sticker on the back - just wondering if anyone knows who owned it or if they had a progress thread?
OU10 XKZ
He's done well as I don't think there's anything spec wise it doesn't have - Recaros, Keyless, Cup Suspension, Climate, Etc
Copied over from the Megane Forum
Had my Megane 250 just over a couple of weeks now and thought it would be time to start a thread for it!
Bought it off a lad on this very forum, travelled all the way down London to get it and drove it back
Previous car was a Clio 182, which I bought...
Seems that on these Low Boost conversions the magic figure is about 230bhp or so? (And similar torques)
What's the limiting factor from going higher? Is it the internals, clutch/gearbox or just seen as being the ideal power?
What's stopping you putting in a Megane head gasket to lower the...
Need a new front wheel bearing for my cup packed 182, so the larger one (84mm OD)
Am I best off getting a Genuine one, or is SNR an OE Equivalent?
Only reason I ask I'd normally go Genuine but I can get the SNR from Euro Car Parts a day sooner which would be a big help, even if it'd cost me a...
Currently on : 205/45/16 on 7J (Diameter = 590.9mm)
Putting on : 195/50/15 on 7J (Diameter = 576mm)
Am I right in thinking I'll have 7.45mm less arch gap? (14.9mm difference / 2)
Just want to make sure it'll lower the car/reduce the arch gap?
I know we're talking minimal amounts, but just...
Anyone got a list of spares to take with them on a track day, which is suited for a 182?
Something which you could replace there and then without too much issue, and carry on with your trackday
E.g.: HT Leads, Coilpack, Brake Pads, etc
Just I'm planning to do more days next year, and would...
I've had Michelin PS3's on my 182 a couple of times now, and am tempted to try something else as the last set wore a little sooner than I'd like on the front, although the rears wore extremely well! But I have to hand it to them besides from that they were fantastic
Went 205/45/16 the first...
Doing my Brake Refresh today hopefully - new discs, pads, braided brake lines and new fluid
Happy enough with the discs and pads as I've done them before, and reading on the bleeding side of things it looks easy enough as I've got an Eezibleed kit
Just wondering if it's a case of literally...
So thought I'd make the most of the nice weather and went for a drive to the Black Mountain Pass (A4069) since it's supposedly one of the best roads (if not the best) in Wales...I'll let the pictures do the talking

Having just bought a genuine Trophy spoiler as one came up for sale at decent money, stupidly forgot that they need different boot struts
I remember the Renault ones are absolutely ridiculously priced, but seem to remember some BMW ones fit?
Anyone able to shed some light on this please...
Thinking of giving my FF 182 a full suspension refresh, and this is what I plan to change :
1) Front Shocks (Cup)
2) Rear Shocks (Cup)
3) Top Mounts
4) Lower Arms (Wishbones)
5) Inner Track/Tie Rod
6) Track/Tie Rod End
7) Steering Rack Bushes
Is there anything else I should look at changing...
Bought a set of Xenon Headlights with the black inserts, to change for my grey insert ones, off a lad on here and they've unfortunately arrived with the adjusters broke on both lights
It is the adjuster which his behind the big rubber cap, by the Xenon unit itself
It's the same on both of...
Serioudly considering some ITB's (admittedly I'd be looking secondhand most probably), but seen there's a few different kits out there...
From Jenvey = Jenvey SF ITB's with EFI Inlet Manifold ...
I did put this in my progress thread (http://www.cliosport.net/threads/jimbobs-black-gold-182.778554/page-3#post-11141613) but not everyone see's that, so thought I'd drop them in here
Went up to Ystradefellte to get a few photos today with a couple of mates - Luckily weather held off, and even...
Anybody recommend a mapper around West Midlands or South Wales region?
I know there's EFI or RS Tuning, but both are over 3 hours away!
Currently got an RS Tuner Map on which I understand can be a pain to remove/write over,
Cheers, James
Current Spec / Mods : Cup Suspension, Cooksport Springs, Michelin PS3's, Whiteline Rear ARB, Rear Axle Spacers, Hubcentric Front Spacers, Polybushed Dogbone & Upper Engine Mount
What should I look at next?
Thinking Solid Top Mounts...probably Pure Motorsport ones
Car is used for fast road...
Found some Recaro Trendlines I'm interested in, but they have a crack in the leather which the seller has ensured me that its not a rip
Can just this section be retrimmed, or would it need to the whole seat? And any ideas what sort of cost?
I know I'm better of asking some seat retrimmers...
This is probably a very stupid question, but I've fitted the following today :
Changed from Standard 182 Alloys to ET38.5 Turinis, Brand New Michelin PS3's (195's compared to 205's on the old alloys)
Stud and Nut Kit
10mm Front Spacers (Non-Hubcentric)
10mm Rear Hub Spacers
Driving the car...
Getting spacers for my Clio, so will need longer wheel bolts
Thinking of going for a stud kit as I quite like the idea of it, but if I'm honest the car is mainly used for road use (so the benefit of quickly changing wheels doesn't really matter)
I just like the look of them, and in terms of...
How low do Bilstein B14's go? From what I've read they'll go plenty low enough on the front, just not sure on the back
I'm hoping they'll be lower than the Cooksports, especially on the back
Some side on pics would be fantastic!
Cheers, James
Looking at getting my wheels powder coated, however I have been asked what RAL Colour I would like
I'm after a dark grey / anthracite
The problem is the guy who is doing the work for me doesn't have many different examples he can show me, so I'm stuck looking at RAL Colour Charts which really...
Anyone fitted one of the V6/Trophy Replica spoilers off eBay?
Thinking of getting one, already in primer so that it shouldn't react with the paint hopefully
Just wondering what the general fit and quality is like?
@dann2707 you've got one haven't you?
Cheers!
Can you use the same washer on the gearbox sump plug as the one on the engine oil sump plug? (Metal with rubber insert)
I've heard people use a copper washer, but was wondering if I could use a metal washer with the rubber insert.
Basically left or right washer for the gearbox sump plug...
Possibly a really stupid question here,
Fitting camber bolts on the front and putting some 10mm rear axle spacers on, and would like to get the car set up / geometry done
For winter I'm running my 182 Alloys, and I'm getting my Turinis refurbished which I'll put back on once winter has gone...
Got some Washer Blanks to fit to my 182 FF, which currently has Jet Washers for the Xenons
What's the best way to stop the fluid trying to come through
I've heard of people just using a threaded bolt, or another option is to disconnect a pump? The pump way sounds the best method to me
Does...
