hmm, still not sure if I like the new shape clio yet. Maybe when I see it in the flesh it might get my approval. Maybe its where Im just too attached to the current shaped one.
Ive had my 172 mk 2 since january this year with 18k miles on. Had a 24k service on it start of this month and no probs. Only thing is the tyre wear. The renault technician said I had about 2mm left on one of the rear tyres, roughly 2k miles. Thing is, I checked the front tyres and theyre still...
I live in a pretty populated city (Portsmouth)yet I rarely even see 172s and 182s. Think the closest Id get to a trophy is to throw some red paint on somones clio.
Exactly the same thing happened to me when I got my 172. I tend to just click the air burst button so it clears then turn it off once its clear, usually only takes a few secs.
Or if its just wet and not raining much ill just wind down the window a little.
r-jay, what do you use on your tyres? Im using maguires Endurance High Gloss but doesnt look quite as neat as yours. Maybe Im just not applying it right.
Just been given a quote for a dent removal on my drivers side door.
£65 to repair a slight dent at the front of the door and a small crease below it, there is some rippling near the door handle but is too hard to get to. Sounds pretty expensive to me but I cant find any other services in the...
Got my 172 at the beggining of the year and havent had any major probs with it yet, still puts a smile on my face everyday after work :)
I cant quite remember what the common problems are on the 172/182s but Im sure when the clio pros come on a bit later they can give u a better answer...
ye the police are b*stards when it comes to speed cameras. I was on my way to pick my little cousin up from a party 11:00 last friday when I noticed a couple of fluorescent stripes which as I passed, ended up being 2 p*gs with a speed camera. I was doing about 35mph at the time so I also have a...
First time Ive ran a red light since I been driving and soo p*ssed off about it. Was having an argument with the missus and my lapse of concentration led me to blatently run a red light while speeding. Luckily no-one was close to getting run over and no other cars were turning into the same...
Thats helpful. I think I got the wrong variant, as my car now has a load of darker silver blobs on it. Looks perfect when its applied, but as soon as it dries....
On the touch-up stick it has:
77 01 422 387
uv1 1 640
How do i know what variant this is? cos there is no other...
Think its because of the festival of the sea, Theyre organising big security checks. Bloody speed cameras everywhere!
There are police vans strategically parked past the end of most major roads coming into Pompey. Almost got caught myself but luckily managed to see the police bikes in time...
My 172. All my other cars have just run arounds, but this one puts a smile on my face everytime I see it. Everyday I finish work I look forward to driving it home. I actually love washing it and I think I love this car more than my mum
I have a clio ph2 172. Since I bought it, it seems to always produce a buzzing sound at between 83-85mph. Its not a major sound like the cars gonna fall apart, but more like theres a bee stuck in my car and its really starting to annoy me.
Even had a friend sit in the passenger seat and try...
yep, me too. About 1 in every 20-30 or so start ups it does it. I usually turn the ignition after the SERV light goes out, I find it starts quicker, not sure. maybe its just me :)
Theres been a dent in my drivers side door since i bought the car. It looks like one that can just be pushed out. Ive tried pulling it out with a sucking pad with no success but am gonna try and push it out seeing I have a nice 3 days off to do so. Im thinking of removing the inside panel where...
on my old car, I ran out of back to black half way through. I had some old black shoe polish under the stairs and after a few weeks the back to black had faded where as the shoe polish was still black and acting like a protectant. Sometimes common house hold products can out-do the retail stuff...
