on a non 16v or williams, 55mm is not much. i had my old one 55 and it wasnt all that low. no idea how low my track car is...

dunno if brake ducts will be needed for oulton on sat. a better mod would be a snow plough attachment! ;)

i.e apex 40mm cup springs fit a 1.2 of the same age or whatever? or not worth it as different poundage?

i would have thought that the subframes were removed, meaning the sidemounts are mounted directly to the floor, making the seats sit much lower, and being totally fixed to the car. FIA standard.

worth 100 quid any day of the week, dependant on condition and tyres, easily 150quid imo.

good choice of seats. look tidy, and for an everyday car height looks spot on. for a track car you want them lower tho, but then you cant see over the bonnet!!! lol

i go to somewhere that uses the above tyre machine, and they still scratched them. its annoying, but to be honest they were track wheels, so i aint that gutted.

ive worked on 1998 and 1999 1.2's with lucas girling calipers and pads. pretty obvious difference tho i suppose.

yes. about 50% weight saving. try www.plastics4performance.com. they do clio kits. would bother with front sliders like rally cars, they just leak and are a pain (imo) and the std windows in plastic can hook up to the winders nicely!

yeah even for track use uprated pads, discs (maybe) and lines are more than enough. 4 pots are overkill, but if you can afford them then why not! ;)

cant say good enough things about my avo's for my mk1 track clio. for the price they are spot on. many of the mk1 lads run them! :D

thanks for that. cant belive that was -40mm on springs. i assume it was quite high without lowering springs?
