If stock tyres are 60 profile, then 55 profile will be lower not higher.
I'd go for the 185/55/15, they're the same width and only slightly lower profile.
I used to have terrible running when cold and a lumpy idle on my cup, but things have improved significantly since buying a RSTuner and using Henk's latest files. The car runs much better throughout the rev range.
Thanks for the info. I am looking forward to getting it after seeing all the posts from people who have them. Sounds like it should give me exactly what I'm after.
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new RSTuner which I finally managed to get ordered at the weekend. I've been wondering about one thing...
I've got a Pipercross Panel filter and a Magnex cat back system on the car at the moment, will the maps available for download from Fastchip be ok to...
I believe the oil pressure switches are quite prone to failing. Had to change mine a couple of months back. Cheap to buy and dead easy to fix, might be worth a try if you've checked all the obvious things.
I've had exactly the same problem with my 172 Cup. Took it in for service and was told the pads were very low. I have to admit I hadn't checked them for a while given that I changed all pads and discs when I bought the car only 15k miles previously.
I've changed the rear pads and when...
I posted in the quoted thread and I'm still not happy with my car now really. It has been checked out a couple of times now with nothing found. I'm still finding that a slight left/right movement of the steering wheel gives a very slight clunky sensation back. It hasn't got any more...
I would declare all mods. When declaring a panel filter I would probably state specifically to them that you have fitted a non-standard filter but that it makes no increase to the performance. Any minor mod like that which will only make small performance increases I would do the same for. The...
That bracket is one beautiful piece of engineering, I'd quite happily sit it on my coffee table. :o
I do a hell of a lot of work with precision machinists through my work and I know if I took drawings down to them for that fitting kit then it would definitely not be a small bill!! I guess if...
I've been feeling a slight bit of play in mine over the last few months and have been checking different things for a couple of months to try track it down. I even had it into my local reno dealers (they are usually very good, rare I know!) and they didn't think it was anything to worry about...
Try RotationUK if you're happy for them to turn up in the post for you to sort out getting them fitted elsewhere. Less than £50 for Yoko S-Drives. Not used them so can't comment on how good they are I'm afraid.
It leapt back into life last night and started charging properly, very weird! Going to see if it happens again. Might just give them a ring tho and get them to log the problem on their system (if they've got one that is!)
I read on the Android forums that the cache memory can get clogged and...
Has anybody else got a G1?
I was in the middle of writing a txt and then the screen and all the keys just went dark. I could get absolutely no response out of it whatsoever. It had about 35% battery when it died so I put it on charge and the charging LED didn't even light up.
I'm going to...
It will be a top phone eventually but by then it will be too late, the abysmal policy of releasing a handset which is still plagued with issues will sadly ruin it's reputation before it's even started.
I sent mine back on the 13th day of the 14 day return policy. In all that time it worked...
I briefly had a BlackBerry Storm, for the short time it was working it was great. Was useless most of the time tho. I asked Vodafone to sort me out a swap to the Bold and then they messed me around and lied to me once too often so I jacked my contract in on the 13th day. Really regret they...
Mine does this when it's close to or below freezing. It did it last winter and it's doing it again this winter. Battery checks out fine tho and I've never had any problems with it.
I've had the car 18 months now on the same battery and even when left for a while it always turns over swiftly...
^^Could be??. A mate of mine had similar with his car, but he'd managed to get to the point where pad backing plate was against disc! I told him he deserved a slap! lol
Mine's developed a highly annoying squeak from the rear suspension when I'm on even a slightly bumpy road. I'm starting to get very annoyed with it. It's due a service soon and I'm tempted to get them to put all new bushes and dampers on it and have done with it while it's in. The handling's...
Location: Norf**k = Lots of animal related damage to your car. I've hit numerous animals and almost wrote one car off thanks to a deer coming out of a hedgerow at me. I swerved, mounted a verge and then did a 180 coming to rest against a tree. Learnt a good lesson about driving in freezing...
I don't have a name for my car but this thread has got me thinking..... I could call it Squeak as that's what the fecking thing does all the time as you drive down the road. Rattle and Creak are equally as apt but I didn't think they were quite as endearing.
