Passenger sill all straight (only needed minor tweaking) and hammerited now, skirt cleaned out and again removed all the crud and properly cleaned behind the arch liner.

A boring job now out of the way

Ive machined the paint back as per my previous pictures to get it to a fairly dent standard, in the summer things will get a bit more intense.

Cambelt etc all arrived today in less than 24 hours after ordering from Renault Wolverhampton, great service from them!

Even though I work for Renault it was cheaper by over £100 to get all the parts from another dealer 🤣 work that one out!

I shall get it all fitted once the weather warms up a tad.

Stripped off the front end today in prep for when I do the cambelt etc at the end of the month.

Noticed the radiator was damp a couple of days ago so I’ve taken it off to be replaced with a new unit.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be able to clean up everything behind the bumper etc in the evenings.

I removed the passenger headlight purely to get to the 2x air pipe so I can re-glue the fabric back together.

I've ordered a nissens rad as you mentioned in my other thread. Did the rad not come with the captive nuts?

No it was bare. The slots were there though (along with others I guess for Ph2). If you need some il dig some more out.

yeah that's the one! was looking at trading my 220 Trophy in against it at the time, sent a big detailed email to find out some more info as it was a 8hr drive and got like a 1 line email back with a quote saying £x amount down and £x a month with no mention of anything I had asked lol lost confidence and ended up driving 2hrs further to lands end for one!

Aye mate. I ended up sacking it off and getting another one. Tried multiple caps

It must have just been a bad batch like because the second one I got was fine. I had to trim a piece of excess plastic on the second one though as it again stopped the cap fully seating
