Or just shoot RAW, open the shot twice at different exposures and blend together? (I believe Canon RAWs carry about 1.5 stops either way of extra info? Not sure about others). Not suggesting that this is perfect, but it's quick, dirty (and cheap!)

What camera and OS? There is a Canon RAW windows codec which allows you to see them as icons in the desktop environment...

Also had very good experience with an Iiyama swapout a few years ago. Great company!

Anyone know why this would be? An ISO50 or even 10 would save having to buy ND filters! Seeing as it's making the sensor less sensitive rather than more I don't see any technical barrier?!

Ive got a 24" Dell and it's fantastic. My brother got a cheaper 24" the other day (forget the make) but colour and viewing angle on it are absolutely terrible and he regrets not spending the extra now. You definitely do get what you pay for with monitors!

Flat colours just do not go with metallics IMO
