Mine is the car with 6000 miles on it, just because we use my missus car for town and just use mine for out of town runs, does not mean there is anything dodgy about having a low mileage well looked after car.
Its incredible how somebody can comment about a car they know nothing about.
The first country to have a roundabout on their roads was America - New York 1903, but it was Britain that worked out the rules about who has right of way.
Unfortunately Virgin will traffic manage your new 20 Mb service to a 5mb connection if you download over 3Gb between 4pm to midnight.

Hi
In Windows 98 and I think 2000, there used to be a couple of keyboard shortcuts that closed all opened programmes (not minimised), can anybody remember what they were and if they work with XP.

Hi,
That warranty letter is the letter I received from Renault when I queried how much warranty I would get on my 51 plate 172 imported from Belgium.
When I needed warranty work to be done at a Renault dealer I took the letter as I was expecting an argument from them, service took one look...
Picked up 182 yesterday with cup suspension, tyres fitted are 83v with a red dot on the sidewall, they had a standard 182 in the showroom and once again these tyres were 83v but these had a green dot on the sidewall, so if the theory is correct, the red dot signifys stiffer sidewalls.
Now...
Sold my silver 51 plate with 16300 miles on it through Autotrader for £8250. The first person to view bought it for the asking price with no haggling, so I would expect you to be able to get at least the same.

Just come back from Germany, where Shell sell "V Power" instead of Optimax and this has a 100 Octane rating. Wouldnt mind trying that in the 172.

and in some cases a windbag driving.
Hi Daipac,
£74.99 is the price MotorWorld are charging for Apex springs, are you sure you are getting Eibachs, as their site does not seem to list them.

i Spoke to a very helpful guy at Radbourne Racing in Wimbledon, they race Clios, and he told me the only difference engine wise between a cup and a std 172 was the exhaust. He also said that the r-sport ecu will fit the mk2 172 if the engine number starts with 763 as he has fitted one to a...
The Cobra alarm does allow use of the original Renault key fob, the cat 2>>>1 upgrade in the Clio accessories booklet is a Cobra, how do I know because a Renault dealer fitted it to my car for £300 all inclusive.

The Alarm fitted to the 172 is a Cobra bridge 7000 series. exact make 7518 I think . I had one of these fitted at a Renault Dealer for £299 all inclusive. This works with the original key fob. Another make that will fit with the original key fob are Toad alarms.

I went to book my 172 in for a 24 month service today, only to be told that the 172 only needs a service at 24,000 miles or if that mileage is not made a service 24 months after the 12 month service. After reading the service intervals in the handbook, it seems that Renault are right (incredible...
Hi All,
The original letter was mine, what I find strange is that you are all having to send documents in, all I did was ring Renault and quote them the chassis number, and they sent me back that letter. My car is a Belgian import, and yes it has the correct amount of BHP before any one says...
