I took my engine out for the 3. time in a few weeks today. From the time I started to take of the bonet to to when the flywheel came off, it took 2,5 hours :). Starting to know how to do it now. Mabye I should tru to set a new world record? ;) BTW. The sealing behind the flywheel was leaking...

As many of you have followed, I did rip the engine out today. The Megane flywheel did indeed have only one triggerpiont vs the 16v who has two.Engine is now on its way back in. Hope it will fire tomorow. I love the exstra work..:@

I cant start my engine after the F7R bottom conversion. I wantet the bigger clutch so I used the flywheel of the megane. Now I am wondering if the flywheel has has different triggerpionts of the egnition, since I only get a spark at the 2 and 3 sylinder. please, enyone who has done this and...

Has this been done? I compared my 172 engine and my 16v, is looks like a strait forward job? Or am I missing something?

Is it realy nesesary to buy new head bolts when you change the head gasket?
