Not generally a fan of cutouts on rear bumpers but you've done it perfectly! Nice black/white contrast too...

I was in two minds myself but felt the back end needed an exhaust tip on show, without the 182 surround, I wouldn't of done it though!

The mats I found on eBay, I got in touch with a seller who sells tailored 'Cup 172' mats and sent him this logo and how I wanted them

I was tempted to go for the new style logo, but went for these to match the seats, a bit different to the normal RS mats as well

Checked all the levels/fluids etc
Jet Washed
Meguiars Shampooed
Rinsed
Apple Screen Wash
Water Magnet Dried
AG Tar Removed
AG Custom Wheel Cleaned
AG SRP'd
Meguiars Window Cleaned
Meguiars Metal Polished Exhaust Tip
AG Vinyl & Rubber Shined
Meguiars Hot Shine Tyre Shined

The Williams as mentioned were only mean't to be a temp measure but my Turini's all need tyres and a good load of prep and painting first.

I have a skoda splitter and some bumper grill stickers however these are for the new bumper (this one is no good) but I agree with you on the aerial.. it's marmite on me.. some days ive been very close to just buying an OE base but it looks ok colour coded and gets epic radio reception.. ill prob end up changing it though lol

I've looked... And original aerials are fetching good money just for the bases! :S

May have to hunt a few breakers locally for a good second hand one and a C2 stubby

The bullets are brighter that's for sure, fresh paint I guess, I will be trying to make the paintwork up to a decent standard in time, so hoping they will blend in a bit better in pictures over time, in the flesh all it looks fine?!

Joiner for the larger BMC CDA

Silicone hose and oil feed. Cut to suit, not my choice of colour but meh

Old hose was horrendous..

TB cleaned up with carb cleaner, behind the butterfly also

Nasty peely sticker binned off (replacement further down the page)

Converted the drivers seat to phase two spec

Phase one seat sliding handles were always popping off

Note the old seat bolster

Also renewed the resistors, the original plug resistors had been chopped, no finished photos but all insulated and clipped to the seats

Trip down to my local Citroen..

Mint aerial base

Thought I'd have an issue when removing 'The Fin' ..

Nice and tight

Fixed the crushed washer jet hose, finally it works!

Noticed my plate light becoming intermittent, stripped the plug down and found this..

Renewed the plug with the spare boot lid loom and got myself down to Renault to replace the unit

Some fresh Glacier White 369 from my local paint shop to have to following sorted:

Front Bumper
Washer Caps
N/S Side Skirt
Mirror Caps
Dash Strips
Gear Knob Insert
Steering Wheel Insert
Dials/Clocks Surround

Back from the painters, dial surround still not back the mo:

Fabia Splitter tabs flat levelled

Went over the xenons with the 3M kit as I did them off the car last time around

Was able to give them some good pressure this time (left first stage, right finished)

Done

Old mirror caps (foam tapped on..) and some honest photos of what I was hiding regards the front bumper !!

Fell to pieces from poor repair work

Spent the rest of the evening removing the old bumper speed clips and bolts, the bumper was obviously pulled off without undoing the bolts at some point.. nightmare..

New bumper (now actually bolted on to the car )

Splitter perfectly straight, short short screws and clean cut ends

The sideskirt had been forced off/on at some point, used to annoy me seeing this every day..

Here's why... typical Clio jacking point error... probably the same time the wheels where taken off to be painted orange .. !

Got cleaning, mole grips, long nose pillars, hammers etc

New bolts, lock nuts and washers, fresh!

Overview of changes..

(Induction, Aerial, Grill Replacement Decal, Painted Bits, Splitter, Drivers Seat etc)

Oh and a wash, standard !

Cheers ladKnow what you mean about jobs to do, its never ended, want some new uprated engine mounts, snappy steering wheel in time, get the camber right, sort the Turini's out, RenaultSport and Cup badges etc. Wouldn't mind giving it a blast around a track at some stage without destroying the work it's had for a bit of fun

45 CB is no more lad.. sold it a fair old time ago now. Perhaps couple of years ish maybe? Wasnt using it and lost interest in the beep beeps everyday whereever I went especially because I had the Cupra back at the time!

Interior plastics stickered up and four coats of lacquer..

Interior cleaned up and mats in

Pedals metal polished

PH1 style spare gear knob (Need to get the heatsheilds and exhaust off to fit my mint 182 one) .. Also a cig lighter torch

Dash top off for assembling the clocks

Front tyres were getting low so picked up a good second hand set.. Nankang beasts! :quiet:

Here's why the Toyos scrubbed out

Corrected to 0.5 degrees, also matches the look of the back

Trip to the tyre shop again (Don't like other people jacking the car up, look what happened to the sideskirt previously!)..

Remember these wheels?

Little job I've been meaning to do for a while..

Drivers door handle clip, used to always be loose due to the clips broken

Few Renault bits (more on this later)

Measured up, levelled, and mirrored the position of the Clio badge

Opted for some 182 Cup one piece door pillar badges

The original ones with the yellow 172 never looked right on the white paint, plus they always tend to be wonky

Again, measured and levelled etc

Spoilered streaky wipers binned

Looking miles better and these perform a treat!

Pick yourself up and old Clio Ambulance or Van or a pov spec 1.2, they are White
