+1 Respect for the work and detail gone in to this.

Where did you get the floor and boot mats? are they readily available anywhere?

This is looking nice again!

Not generally a fan of cutouts on rear bumpers but you've done it perfectly! Nice black/white contrast too...

Want to see this in the flesh soon!

Thanks dude,

I was in two minds myself but felt the back end needed an exhaust tip on show, without the 182 surround, I wouldn't of done it though!

I think white is my favorite colour for these cars!

I like what you've done so far, keep up the good work :)

Should of been an option from the factory IMO, but wouldn't of made them look as special in white if they did

Cheers

Thanks pal

The mats I found on eBay, I got in touch with a seller who sells tailored 'Cup 172' mats and sent him this logo and how I wanted them

http://asklogo.com/images/R/renault sport logo.jpg

I was tempted to go for the new style logo, but went for these to match the seats, a bit different to the normal RS mats as well

Guess I should fit them soon ... :o

Awesome!!!

why didn't they make the 172/182 in white? Looks so good.

Bullets are a nice touch mate :)

Oh and the williams wheels look quality too.

BUT I would lose the max power roof aerial and stick a skoda splitter on it ;)

Thanks lad

The Williams as mentioned were only mean't to be a temp measure but my Turini's all need tyres and a good load of prep and painting first.

I have a skoda splitter and some bumper grill stickers ;) however these are for the new bumper (this one is no good) but I agree with you on the aerial.. it's marmite on me.. some days ive been very close to just buying an OE base but it looks ok colour coded and gets epic radio reception.. ill prob end up changing it though lol

looks sweet mate

love the badges. . Sell the Williams and get tyres and refurb with proceeds. .

Wheels aren't going anywhere, need to be back on my 5... (prepainted)

looks superb i really like it on the willy wheels.

Actually very surprised at how nice it looks, seen a few look so tacky but this is a peach!

Keep the willy wheels on it. looks perfect.

:D Ha, I know what you mean, usually I see white ones with black painted trims/wheels/roofs etc and stickers, I like to keep things OE+

Very nice mate!

As above though, airlel is a bit chavvy.

Bullets look like a slightly different colour though are they?

No love for that aerial! :D

I'm on the case for a decent genuine one ;)

The bullets are brighter that's for sure, fresh paint I guess, I will be trying to make the paintwork up to a decent standard in time, so hoping they will blend in a bit better in pictures over time, in the flesh all it looks fine?!

Looks awesome

Thanks BREMBO :)

Cheers ladKnow what you mean about jobs to do, its never ended, want some new uprated engine mounts, snappy steering wheel in time, get the camber right, sort the Turini's out, RenaultSport and Cup badges etc. Wouldn't mind giving it a blast around a track at some stage without destroying the work it's had for a bit of fun

This car is a serious credit to you, it's bloody lovely especially considering how you bought it. Good effort Chris, it really makes me want to get my Trophy done white with red graphics.

This looks fantastic. I really like this project thread. I don't like the Rota's I think there not suited to any clio. If she was on black turini's it would be perfect :)

Would be the finishing touch IMO when 16" anthracite Turinis go on. The Williams wheels should be back on the 5 where they're more suited (again IMO)

Never a truer word spoken pal. They look lost on the Clio!

Ahh Mr CB

As per usual a very nice project and write up here.

The car has come a long way but lack one thing. 45 CB on the plate.

45 CB is no more lad.. sold it a fair old time ago now. Perhaps couple of years ish maybe? Wasnt using it and lost interest in the beep beeps everyday whereever I went especially because I had the Cupra back at the time!

Love the updates the car looks stunning!

Thanks Ash, I'm still not happy with it yet though ;)

Looking awesome. I really need to put a new style RS badge on mine.

Cheers pal

However, on PH1's you have holes behind the Renault Sport badges I believe? So may gave to address these first?

Looking fabulous.

Loving your attention to detail and all the picture taking.

I want a white Clio :(

You'd wouldn't think I pick the photos to upload would you :D going to have to clear out the laptop soon I think! Way to many!

Pick yourself up and old Clio Ambulance or Van or a pov spec 1.2, they are White :D

Gorgeous car - turning it into a minter too - well done mate

Thanks man, only real thing letting it down is the mileage but I'm more of a believer in history over mileage!
